If you are anything like me you want to save on the trips you take. Every single one of my dollars I need to squeeze so that I live the experiences of life when I want to. There are various ways to do so and I will highlight some of them below. Start shaking those couches out!

You can save money on your vacation before, during, and after your trip. Take all the time you need to find great deals when planning your vacation and use these tips for additional savings!
01 Join Travel Clubs
Join all the free travel clubs that you can find on the Internet. Enjoy savings on food, lodging, transportation, and entertainment. There are also programs that give you cash back for flights and hotel such as Wayaway. They currently are running a promotion for 10% off for the yearly subscription. Bringing the yearly cost to $45!
02 Travel Off Season
When you travel in the off season, you’ll receive the greatest savings on hotels and more. Also research why it is off season because it might not always be temperature.
03 Check Your Vacation Place
Check with the hotel you're staying at to see if they have discounts on sightseeing options. Most hotels have a literature area with various deals at local establishments in the area. If you are lucky enough to have a hotel concierge, they can really give you the low down on the surrounding area.
04 Stop by Visitor Centers
The visitor center in the area of your vacation will have lots of coupons for savings on your trip. I know visitor center sounds odd to say in the age of the smart phone but like the billboards they still serve a purpose.
05 Bring Your Own Food
Eating out can get old, even on vacation. Visit the grocery store for drinks, snacks, and items you can eat for lunch and breakfast. Airbnb and VRBO are good options that have the kitchens to store the food you buy.
06 Pay Off Your Vacation Credit Card Charges
When you get home, pay the vacation expenses that you had charged to your credit cards. Every dollar you can pay now saves money in interest and fees. Hopefully, you also planned ahead of this and had money designated for your ventures so the blow to the cards won't be so bad.
Make the most of your vacation by saving money while you’re having fun!
